Records are the community's fruiting observations — what's up, where, and in what numbers. A living snapshot of the woods, updated by the people walking them.

What a record holds

species   what was found
date      when it was fruiting
region    roughly where (exact spots private)
count     a few, or a flush

Why it matters

One record tells you a mushroom exists. A thousand, spread across a region, tells you the season is on — and that's the difference between a walk and a haul.
